HOWARD — Authorities are asking for help finding a snowmobiler they say fled the scene after hitting and seriously injuring a woman walking near Duck Creek on Sunday night.
Joseph K. Mains, whose last known address was in Suamico, hit a 29-year-old Howard woman about 9:48 p.m. while riding a snowmobile in the 2500 block of Riverview Drive, Lt. Kevin Wickman of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department said today.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say Mains and another person were leaving the bay of Green Bay on snowmobiles when they encountered a group of fishermen, who were on foot.
Mains allegedly hopped on the other snowmobile and left the scene before authorities arrived.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is assisting with the investigation.
Anyone with information about Mains’ whereabouts is asked to call the Brown County Sheriff’s Department at 920-391-7450.

It's laughable that this guy is still on the street with a record like that. What do you have to do to get locked up anymore? Seriously! This one is as bad as the Deer Killers from two years ago.
