Holding Out.... Latest Last Rides

Frustration has set in. I have been hoping to chase a big storm since the end of January. You know the type of storm that drops 12+. Being from south of Chicago and not wanting to drive up for my last ride of the year on 4 inches of new snow, I have only been up north once this year.

Anyone else have the same frustrations???????

My latest ride was 3 or 4 easters ago. Munising got rocked by 2 feet plus. Had a blast. I'm keeping my fingers crossed buy I am starting to see the glass as half empty at this point......

Just thought I'd vent!

Or you could live up North & watch the season fade away for 30 days with storms going south, east & west week after week all winter long.

Even living in the UP I have the same frustrations. I live in the snowbelt just south
of Trenary. We got nailed in December and then a thaw. Never got a good system snow this year. I moved into the snowbelt two years ago because I love big snow and I have been disappointed.

nlmotel in wawa is reporting excellent conditions and low traffic on its facebook page....if we weren't heading west next weekend that's where I'd want to go.

nlmotel is not open in the winter any more. Wawa motor lodge still is open. (The place by the big goose).
Been there ,,,had a blast,,,,,,,,,but the Grey Goose up there is way expensive even for a poor rich guy. Like 14 bucks a drink,,,,,,oh latest ride on snow ,,,right up Ski Brule in Iron River doing a Hill Drag on May 2
