It is coming down crazy good at my house now.

We haven't got much yet but it is an awesome sight.

Might head out and get some pics

I hear ya bud, sure is nice to see a change, for a change. :confused:It's suppose to start getting NICE (Snow & Blowing Snow) for the rest of the week. Uncle LES & Cousin Squally should be visiting for a while, I think Auntie Arctic is coming with as well.:D-Mezz

Only in the Keweenaw...sun is out at my house as well. Here is wishing that John was conservative on the snowfall estimates. Sled is well “broke- in” (400 miles), spent yesterday completing the initial 200 mile check-up, have plenty of time on my hands, ready to ride.

Gosh It went away, the heavy snow that is:(( I sure hope it comes back soon. You couldn't hardly see at all then you could see a mile..

It should start to pick up around 7-ish, possible for a a nice stretch of LES, at least, thats what I'm hoping for. Keepin the digits crossed.-Mezz

Yopu guys do realize that the NWS issued a lake effect snow warning right? That is the kiss of death for sure.

Skylar, you are right!! A warning means no snow... My deck as of 8:30 has only about an inch on it. I hope santa really comes tonight while I sleep.

Well, it's been snowing pretty good for over an hour 1/2 now. Beginning to look like a snow globe in the shaken mode! Let it snow, let it snow,

Come on guys you know by postin that your gonna start a riot to get up there..!!!cant get off soon enough to get up there..after the snow is packed ,panned, groomed..us fibs dont ask for much???hope to meat you all up there sometime..(krupps .) or the closest kareoke bar for others ..MMMMi think it was mosquto...meathead

Meathead, I agree, but, everyone is chomping at the bit right now everywhere, except area's in Mn. It is good to see the change, though, not whining, it is a little on the raw side with the single digits & wind, ahh, yes, let it rip!-Mezz

I would say I got somewhere around 6 inches. It is hard to tell though. I live in the middle of a windswept 20 acre field without much of a block for wind. I have approx 6 inches as of 7:30 am EST on the ground. There sure could be more but it may have been blown away! I'd like to hear some info from Mezz, to see what he got as he is more shielded from trees and about 5 miles from me as the crow flies.

We are staying down at Krupp's (Twin Lakes, MI), and can not see a lot of new snow. Lots of blowing makes it difficult to tell. If I had to guess, I would say maybe an inch of new snow.
