Houghton bridge mat

Ok, I apologize in advance. I saw a thread weeks ago but no one ever updated it. Is the mat down on the bridge?

It wasn't last weekend. I was told that because of the work on the bridge it won't be down this winter.

Not sure why folks are so curious/concerned about the snow mat..it seems like 75 feet long and takes 5 seconds to get across..complete non-issue whatsoever. IMO

As long as you are burning Sea&Snow and don't give hand signals,you should be fine.

many carefree miles on my carbides, and i have been over the mat lots. the 800 just keeps on rolling thru all that clatter just fine this year. i wish i would have checked carbides before and after, seemed to have lost quit a few chunks somewhere this snow covered week. in the days of hub caps on cars you could always see the bad potholes. i know i know, saw the video. any one out there maybe have a similar experience on the bridge?
