Houghton Drop Site

I know this question has been asked a million times but is there a good place to drop a two place trailer in Houghton?

I've parked at the Ramada for a day and didn't ask, but it would be best to, also @ M&M , but we did rent a sled from their , they didn't have a lot of room but Chad squeezed us in.

South range has the lot across from the vfw. Then you are in Houghton in just a few miles.

If coming in on M-26, ball field parking lot in South Range ^ is most convenient. Otherwise, parking beneath the bridge on the Houghton side, but this fills up early during busy stretches. Can't remember if the parking across the street from the Franklin Square Inn is restricted or fair game...

The lot across from Franklin Square Inn is public and free to park.

Baseball fields across the road from the VFW in South Range worked perfect for us on our latest trip.

Right underneath the lift bridge on the Houghton side. Public parking area.
