House to rent for the Ride-In?

Anybody know of a house that could accommodate up to 14+ people? I just got hosed out of a beautiful house in Dollar bay. I started planning four months in advance, but the company refused to take a deposit, and booked it out from underneath me. They said they would call if anyone else was interested but never did. Finally scrapped up enough people to commit to the cash up front and called tonight to book. Was told it has been filled. GRRRRHHH, I'm irritated! Now I have a bunch of people committed and no place to stay!

Could really use some help on this one.

You could try Lac La Belle lodge. I'm not sure if they rent out there big house still, but it would surely sleep that many. Not the closest to Houghton but you would be in the right area for the some sweet back country riding if that's your thing. Good luck. Or just book a bunch of rooms at the super 8 at the special rate.

Huh?? I was told it was just recently booked. As of about 2 or 3 weeks ago it was still open. You might want to check that they didn't book it out from underneath you too!!!

You definitely need to be there. In a way, you're kind of a special guest this year (was going to say "person of interest" but that didn't sound quite right).

Hate to see you have to try that winter camping thing so soon.

Yup, all set with a place. A certain somebody with a lot of pull around here got us set up with a nice place that will fill our needs. :)
