How are Watersmeet trails holding up?

Didn't see too many yesterday between Marenesco and Iron river.

Perhaps that says it all? Seen it many times in the last 20 years, you have to get above Bruce Crossing when it gets as these conditions. LES, snow belt areas. However, LES has not been the best either.

Hit some of those trails Saturday
Trail 2 East From T1 south to Watersmeet....well Groomed Excellent
took T3 south to gas station next to Nordine's...... this trail was beat with mogals
went back to T2 and east to IR......trail 2 from Trail 3 south was all mogals until the 107 intersection, then Smooth all the way through IR to Trail 7 south
did not ride the Trail 3 north

I’ve had a place in Watersmeet sense 2003 and ride there you just have to know where to go. Bruce crossing quite often has less snow that Watersmeet until you get to Military hill area that is where les really kicks in for snow depth. Trail 3 from Lando to 3 north of grade always beat, kinda like 3 between twin lakes and houghton unless you know the tricks trails can suck. Watersmeet west usually will have more snow especially getting towards Marenisco. Now that Lake Gogebic has gotten there game together and closer to the snow belt usually is pretty good. I will bet money there are thousands of miles left to be rode in Watersmeet area this year. Lakes will fail long before trails do this year.

Watersmeet and Sidnaw trails were fantastic today. A little shutter on 3 between Watersmeet and 3 north off grade but overall fantastic.
