How Desperate is This?

Not much of a topic but maybe it says something.

We've been having trouble with our cable and in spite of two visits from the cable company, it crapped out completely again today. Panic time!

So now, I've rigged an "emergency" cable from the box, across the yard, though a window and directly into my modem. Ahh, back on John Dee. Life is good.

Since there's a chill building, I've stuffed T-shirts, towels and dish cloths in the window gaps and it seems OK now.

Maybe I need another hobby.
