So, among our prizes for this years silent auction for the Ride In, we have a football autographed by the entire 2010-11 Green Bay Packers Team.

In the event that they win the Superbowl this Sunday, how much would that bugger be worth?

I got a pocket full of shelled corn and a couple rusty bolts I would offer.... Ha ha I'm a vikings fan. Anyway I would think if you auctioned something like that off the sky would be the limit. That is really an awesome piece of history.

Can you put it on an online auction so I can bid on it?

I had thought about that, but really not sure how to do it and if I even need some sort of license to do it.

I know that two years ago we had an item that was won by someone not at the event and they had someone proxy bid for them via a cell phone. We could do something like that, but to make it happen, the person bidding via phone would need to have someone at the event vouch for them so that the bid would be insured to be valid. We will have the ability to take a credit card via the phone to pay for it.

Asking $500 for something that packers fan's can't drink is way too much, hence the reason it hasn't sold. John I think if you wanted to do it on ebay and had a cert of authenticity it shouldn't be a problem, seen similar items done that way before. In reality I think some bone head packers fan might be willing to pay 200-250? Online auction could bring 300-400???

Win or lose, today it will be priceless. Keith(Cuzzinolaff) and everybody else involved in coming together to buy this football for my mother, I cant thank you guys enough. Your kindness and generosity brings a tear to my eye. Sometimes we wonder why we chose this profession but it's meeting friends/customers like you guys that make this job worth every hour we put in. For those of you who dont already know, my mother(Claudia) is in a fight for her life against cancer. On behalf of the McIntyre family (Pat's/M&M) THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!

we had a benefit at church last weekend and it was the same thing...an autographed football of all the players from Green Bay 2010 and it went for $700...a great way to raise money for him and his family...he has cancer and is starting Kemo this week.
