Just wondering if anyone had a good tip for cleaning off exhaust residue from yellow body panels?? I've tried scrubbing, but there has to be a product that speeds up the process!!

Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated <font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font>

First put the sled on the trailer, then hook the trailer to your truck. Pull the trailer to the Polaris dealer, and trade that yellow machine in!

Best way I know how to get rid of the stains....

Or....go buy a can of charcoal fluid and use that...but the first option is the best. :)

Bleach white from your local auto parts store. I used to by that expensive belly pan cleaner from the sled shops but a buddy told me about this stuff. Only a couple of dollars for a big spray container. Spray it on, let it sit for a couple of minutes, spray again and use a brush and it will come off. Good as new...Polaris ha that was funny like anyone would trade on one of those. (just kidin')

There was a good roundabout on this on dootalk a couple of years back. If you search it there, you'll likely find some more answers.

WD40 will fade your color use Sled Brite Snowmobile cleaner, www.sled brite.com or you can get it at the Milwakee Wi snow show in October, everything else will dull your color.

I use an orange oil version of cleaners like "Fantastik" or "409" and a tooth brush. Those cleaners also work great on the seats and also the floorboards. However the exhaust residue still takes 4 to 5 scrubbings to get it all off. Belt dust is easier.
