How to Rassle a Bear

well I can sure find the above funny<br> but to be honest??<br>  I have been run over a few times by bears,(crawling into dens with mothers and cubs, and as mom's left den's they have  run me over)  I also have  had some cubs wrestle with me and climb me like a tree before<br> but so far never had one eat me or try to harm me in any way!<br> I tend to give them a lot of respect and room to be bears, many decades of being up close and personal (have worked with trapping tagging and rehab on them)with hundreds of them over the yrs too!<br><br>but am sure it only takes one BAD encounter for things to change<br>  but I think most times bears want to get away from humans more than we humans think<br> as honestly, we humans STINK to them, we honestly smell bad to them! HAHA!<br><br>like who wants to wrestle with someone that stinks really bad right LOl<br>little much up close and personal for most including bears!<br><br><br>

Back in my bearrasslin days I did follow steps 1 and 2 but then I would try to stand up in front of him but under his front legs, I would last for about a minute but my end result was similar but I didn't die

you know many many years ago, a sportsman show (the largest in the USA) ;was having a Grizzly bear at the event, and they were allowing for a FEE a chance to go wrestle it, and anyone that managed to get it on its back, won some crazy amount of cash I forget how much but was like 100 grand or more! ;Any how, a bunch of us guys all sitting about hunting camp& ; drinking beer and busting each others stones ;when one guy said, HECK if you guys pay the entrance fee I will go in there and ; win that money ;his plan was, according to him ; when the match started, both contenders would be standing up, bear on hind legs and he was going to kick it in the balls as hard as he could LOL something eh said NO other fighter ever tired doing, would be a sure thing HAHA!
the bear was wearing a muzzle too by the way!, big sucker like 900+ lbs! Our buddy wasn;t no tiny guy either ; and 300 lbs and his nickname was GUT! any how he was positive that this would work and he would win the money!! >well, we couldn;t have come up with cash any faster than we did , HAHA!
everyone wanted to see this and we all were more than happy to PAY the price for him to get to the show and any entrance fee s and all
if we could get to watch this, and video it(this was in the late 90's before phone so popular) ;any how, in the end he chickened out, ; bear was bigger than he thought ;but I know we would have paid good money to get him in there with that plan LOL
;Muzzle or not, I think that bear would have squished him like a bug, but sure would have been something to see ! the fun that booze brings out at times!

I wrestled a brown phase black bear named Victor the rasslin bear a couple of times at Sportsman shows in the early 80,s. He wore a muzzle and was declawed, they said he weighed about 600 pounds, he was quick and would drop down and go for your legs, it was free to wrestle him and you won nothing if you beat him but it was fun
