What is the best way to stud a track with 96 studs near/at center. I don't want any outside.

Thanks in advance

I've been running the 96 stud pattern with double backer plates in my sleds and they have worked out well.

I used Woody's Gold Digger push-thru studs and aluminum backers.

Use the Christmas tree pattern 2 close together to start then 2 a little farther apart on the next row then 2 a little farther apart on the row after that. repeat this pattern all the way around. If you have a long track you will need more then 96 to do every row. Mark all hole locations before drilling and keep everything even for track balance. Studing temp plates are cheap and much easier to correctly space your studs and calculate how many will be needed. Good luck.
