How will John heat his house?

I am sure John can get by with a cordless string trimmer, but an electric chain saw will never do.

I have yet to find a Diesel chain saw... So how about hydraulic.

as long as your close to the source of power or have a large enough generator an electric chainsaw is wonderfull. i have used them for years. i will agree that the power cord poses some getting used to. it socks to cut your extention cord.

I don't think anyone is ATTACKING John. If you do follow than you know John is public about his health. I took this thread as someone being concerned about him, and that's a good thing. Maybe you would like to help in some way?

How many people wouldn't show up for a wood cutting party for let's say a day sledding with JD? I am betting he would have to cut off the list of people wanting to help, lol

Personally, I enjoy cutting wood. I would do it for a friend for free. We used wood to heat our house when I grew up and would cut, split, and stack 1 full logging truck full of oak a year. I wish I liked doing it then as I do now.
