Sorry to hear. We rode last sunday morning before we left, unfortunately the trails we were on we're not good. They needed to be groomed. We ran into a rider member of GTA at gas station in Bessemer and he said Wisconson was short on funds. Normally the White Thunder Riders do a fantastic job. I thought maybe they had a fundraiser the night before and didn't get out with the time change. Hopefully there is a better update.

Friday was perfect trails sat. got beat up from heavy traffic. Plenty of snow so as long as groomers are out will be good.

Trails are pretty good with some lame spots in corners and at each road crossing but if the groomers are out they should ber fne. Probably have most of the trails to yourself i think it will be kinda slow.

You can always tell when the trails are starting to fail. The reports are out dated. Obviously its not the WTR's fault if the funds are gone. Its too bad last year their trails were the best.

Last week i took a rip and the trails were not groomed in Hurley but that may have changed. I saw about 20 sleds parked near the Iron Horse in Hurley Saturday so i would guess those guys were riding in Wisconsin. I been remodeling my place so i havent had much time to ride.

Checked Hurley last night, not groomed. Did a loop to Lake Gogebic this morning, they are still grooming around the lake but it appears the Gogebic Range Trail Authority(Bessemer area) are not. Ironwood to Wakefield was ok, Wakefield to Marinesco fair. Trail 160 north from Ironwood to Lake Superior hasn't been groomed in over a week. Don't know what their excuse is; plenty of snow, cold temps, the official end of the season doesn't happen till the end of the month.

Agreed, I was on everything out of Wakefield
11n, 2 east and 8 east.
My advice trail 8 quickest to lake gogebic groomers and complete bliss .
Also everything east was off the charts on grooming yesterday fresh tracks lake gogebic trails and ontanagon out of white pine. Lake of the clouds awesome with the blue sky and lake superior in sight.
Saw no one on south boundary rd into Bessemer
