wondering what the most direct route, fastest route would be and the trails to take

pull up the map..u need to get to 13.. i think u can run to goegibic on 2..then the goegibic run out..but read the swamp threads around goegibic..they arent frozen..there is only one main trail through the kee, with offshoots to gay and stuff..its a big trip..u probaly need to stay over in copper

170 miles from Hurley to Copper Harbor.

That's assuming you are going when conditions are good and not asking if this is the right way to get there with today's trail conditions (I don't know what they are early season other than what others have mentioned).

Most of that trail is pretty fast going (RR or other "pretty straight stuff").
