Northern Iron County Snowmobile Trail Report, Friday Dec 21
Just received a phone call from the White Thunder Riders Trail Boss, groomers are out today and will run a second shift tonight. Conditions are FAIR to GOOD throughout the Northern Trails.
Below is a complete list of trails that are open.
*17 - All / *8 - Cty G to intersection with West Br Rd /*8B
*13C /*77 – all / *2 - Boomer Cr Rd to Harbor Dr.
*2A to condos /*15A /*15- Hogsback to Island Lk Rd
*13 - Montreal to Island Lk Rd /*11A /*6 /*2
An additional 7 miles of trail along the south side of the Gile Flowage has been opened.
The following remain closed:
Trail 3, entire
Trail 8, west from Trail 15 to intersection with Trail 77
Trail 13B, entire
Trail 13 (south), from the Hogsback east/south to 310 Road
Trail 15 from the Cary Mine Store south to intersection with Trail 15A
Early season riding conditions are in effect --- Exercise Caution at all TIMES!
Riders PLEASE:
SLOW down, STAY right, STAY together. STAY on the trail and don't STEAL trail signs. Remember to STOP and look at road crossings.
