Hurley Area Snow Report, Wednesday January 2, 2019
White Thunder Riders report 2 groomers running today, in the last 24 hours over 115 miles in the northern trail system have been groomed --- most are double wide. Conditions are GOOD to VERY GOOD throughout the Northern Iron County Trail system.
Trail 13 from the Hogsback Rd intersection to 310 Road (approximately 13 miles) is still in FAIR condition.
Current conditions: Sunny skies with 15 degrees. Thursday, Friday & Saturday show temps reaching mid 30s with mid 20s at night. Snow is back in the forecast for Monday.
Whitecap Mountain Resort has a base of 12-22 inches with 30 runs open. The Main, Quad, Midway and Tow Rope are all operating. Snowmobilers are welcome via Trail 6, Whitecap Mountain Resort has a bar/ grill/ cafeteria to enjoy.
