Hurley Area Snow Report, Friday January 4, 2019 White Thunder Riders ---- that group just doesn’t STOP!!! Out grooming again today and report that 135 miles of trail have been groomed. Conditions this morning are FAIR to GOOD. The warm weather and heavy traffic will affect conditions as the day goes on.
Be sure to stop out to the Gogebic County Fairgrounds this weekend for the USSA Cup Ice Oval Races. You’ll see exciting racing action AND the White Thunder Riders will be volunteering. The time and dedication of this group to our community is appreciated by many.
Whitecap Mountain Resort has a base of 12-24 inches with 30 runs open. The Main, Quad, Midway and Tow Rope are all operating. Snowmobilers are welcome via Trail 6, Whitecap Mountain Resort has a bar/ grill/ cafeteria to enjoy.
