Hurley Area Snow Report Monday, December 9, 2019 Now is the time to visit Hurley, the best place to start your next winter adventure!!
White Thunder Riders report that the trails held up to the first official weekend of snowmobile traffic.
Today, the following trails will be groomed double wide:
Trail 17 Hurley to 310 Road; Trail 77 from Hurley to Iron Belt; Trail 15 to West Branch Road; Trail 13 to Hogsback Road.
The following openings/ closings are still in effect:
Trail 8 from Cty G to West Branch Road (closed from 15 west to 77)
Trail 8A
Trail 8B
Trail 13 Montreal to Island Lake Rd.
Trail 13C
Trail 2 & 2A
Trail 15A (from 17 to North Pole, closed from NP to 15)
Trail 15 Hogsback to Island Lake Rd (closed from 15A to BP)
Trail 11A
Trail 6
The White Thunder Riders will be working on freezing down the closed sections as weather permits.
A few things to remember...Three of our border Counties - Vilas, Ashland and Price are NOT open yet, Gogebic Co MI is open. Early season conditions exist even with all the snow. ICE IS NOT SAFE. Please stay off of the lakes and flowages.
