Iron County Snowmobile Trails remain closed at this time.
The snow belt along Lake Superior is currently under a Winter Storm Warning with heavy snow, mixed precipitation and strong winds expected. Total snow accumulations are forecast as 4 to 9 inches, except 7 to 14 inches for Northern Iron and Ashland counties.

We will announce trail opening as soon as we have information from our Iron County Forestry Department and White Thunder Riders snowmobile club.
