Hurley Area Snow Report January 15, 2021
9:00 am
The North Iron County area received 3-4” of snow overnight. The White Thunder Riders Trail Boss reports that the groomers will be operating tonight, the snow we received is good packing snow which will add to the base.
Conditions range from FAIR to GOOD.
Early season conditions exist, please use caution.
Current weather forecast shows a winter weather advisory in effect until 6:00 am on Saturday, January 16 with snow and freezing drizzle. Additional snow accumulations of 2-5 inches are forecast.
We would like to remind everyone of the importance of staying on the trail! There are many areas where Winter crops have been planted and damage is being done by off trail riding. Areas along the North end of Trail 7 ARE NOT OPEN to off trail riding in the private fields. We are thankful for great landowners who allow us to use their marked trails, and we DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THESE TRAILS! Please respect our trails and report any off trail riding you see with any supporting registrations and identifying information.
