Groomers have been out flattening the North Iron County trails and report that the entire northern portion has been groomed. Grooming will continue throughout the weekend with 2 shifts. When you see a groomer --- STOP and WAIT for the driver to signal for you to continue.
Conditions are rated as GOOD to VERY GOOD, with the exception of a 5 mile section on Trail 77 from Hurley WEST to Hoyt Road --- rated as FAIR and a 3 mile section of Trail 17 from Pine Lake SOUTH to 310 Road ---- rated as FAIR. Corners will be icey.
Early season conditions exist, please use caution.
Current weather forecast shows a chance of Snow Today with temps in the single digits. Saturday will be in the low 20’s with another chance of snow on Sunday.
