I applaude him for still wanting to work...too many stories of people retiring and wasting away/dying because of the boredom.
Plus the fact not everyone wants to try and live on ss.

At his age he can make as much as he wants and still collect SS with no penalty. Can't fault the guy for not being lazy. For some people their job is their life, including social life.

We need more of these types of small business owners wiling to stand up to these Governors who think that they have the power to rule peoples lives. Whitmer only seeks the limelight that she is getting from liberal media because she wants the VP nomination from Biden. HATS OFF TO THIS GENTLEMAN FOR STANDING UP FOR HIMSELF AND HIS BUSINESS WHICH IS HIS LIFE!

None of this is LAW. They are Executive Orders not laws. They may be enforced by overbearing LEOs in the short run but I wouldn't want to be in their shoes once the constitutionality, or lack thereof, is affirmed by higher courts.

I wish them both luck. She has a great point. Rent a cabin and no one is in the same building with you but those you chose. Hotel there could be fifty other guests sharing the same ventilation system.

Both Krupps and Park View Lodge which are right across the highway from each other have a much stronger case than the barber. Hotels are allowed to be open. Hotels in Houghton can be open and prices are listed at over $200 a night. Do these hotels ask if folks are on vacation?

In case anybody doesn't know, there is an essential road construction job taking place right now involving repaving from Painsdale to Twin Lakes. These construction workers need a place to stay. I'm all for them reopening. In fact, I'm for the entire U.P. to reopen. The has been only 2 cases of covid in the entire U.P. in the last 13 days. Region 8 is the U.P.

ld is a cuss word in my house. I'm a 75 year old pastor [most pastors don't retire completely] and I live in WI but serve a small church in MI. We are starting up this Sunday. I'm leery of this but want to get back to work serving my people. At least, per MI directive, everyone must wear a mask and I support this. I have a tough time breathing in it and it is hot, but I support it until there is enough testing or a vaccine.
