I have a tourist question.

I have been visiting the U.P. for 24 years now, but I now need to ask a question.

We are coming up for the Ride-In and my 7 year old son would like a piece of copper to bring home. Are there any shops in the Hancock to Calumet area that would have a little chunck of copper to sell? Or is anyone going to the banquet that would like to make a little boys day? We are staying at the Ramada in Hancock and will be in Calumet, or would stop anywhere along the way on the way up.

Thanks for any tips.

There is (or use to be) a shop that sold copper built things and chunks of copper up in the Lake Linden/Hubbell area, I believe right off of the main highway going through.

But that was a very long time ago since I was up that far. I hope its still there, they had some awesome stuff.
