My nephew has had an amazing high school sports career, and now on to college. He has just been named the WI Baseball Central Player of the Year. Look for this guy in a few years in the majors. Very proud uncle here.

Hey, thats pretty cool. Hope I remember his name when he makes the big leagues. Hoping he has no injuries to impead him. That seems to be the thing that stops many a good athlete at college level

That's funny, Kelly. No credit taken here, I was not an athlete. I always liked my sports to have an engine.

One very proud Grandpa here, have followed this young man thru his high school career, wishing him good luck in his future adventures. His college career starts this fall at Akron University. Good luck to you Shane.

My nephew has had to make a change of plans. Akron cut their baseball program, so he was out of a team. Luckily there were immediately other colleges that were interested. So now we will be cheering him on as a Creighton Bluejay in Omaha. Sounds like things have changed for the better for him.
