The I&M Canal can be a beautiful place to snowmobile when the weather cooperates. Hopefully, Mother Nature will give us a lot of opportunities this year.

Great pictures! River's can be alot of fun as long as they're frozen over good. The best part is they stay nice and smooth for the most part. Looks like tons of fun.

The best part about the I&M Canal is that is not a river. The water flow is minimal and it isn't very deep. I'm guessing but I think it isn't much deeper than 5 foot. Not that you want to sink a sled in it but you don't have to worry about a deep river with a current under the ice.

Sweet pics. I know that feeling very well. I cant wait until the canal locks up and we can ride it. I am surprised you didn't have a picture of me from last year passing you up on my arctic cat. LOL

Brad, were these pictures just taken, or are they from last Feburary ?

Pics were taken last February. I wish we had those conditions right now. I have not been out to check on the current conditions. Maybe I will stop out there tomorrow or Sunday and take a few photos to let everyone know what it looks like at the moment.
