Haha. It's been a while since I have gone on the ice. My cousin and I went down to mickelsons. Its between thomson and fulton, il. We hit the ice at about 830am and left at about 5pm. Caught a bunch of less than average bluegills. Did catch some big blues and sunfish. My cousin got the catch of the day with about a 14 inch perch. It was a good day.

Did a little ice fishing my self this weekend. My folks have a 3 acre farm pond with hybrid bluegills, crappie, channel cat & wally's. It was our first time out this year. We found 6" of ice out there, a little surprised. I brought a fellow sledder with me for his first time ice fishing and his first fish through the ice was a 3 1/2 pound cat fish. He was pumped! I have fished the pond for 4 years (5 years ago it was built) and never caught a cat through the ice. So it was a good day with him in the 'keeper' pile. Kept several other blues and crappie's that day as well. Good start to the season.
