The wind finally laid down enough last night to skim over most lakes in the Minocqua area. We have a couple lakes near the house 400-500 acres in size that went last night...Squirrel may have too although nearly double in size. Problem is I don't think we are going to build enough ice by the time our first significant snow of the season arrives this Tues-Wed. It will possibly be a slush pit early on if that happens.
