What are the ice conditions in northern MI, WI, and the upper? Normally we fish the Mississippi waters south of Lacrosse before Christmas, but I'm betting the rain this week will open most of that back up.

not good. We did have a few skim overs for a few days. Much more of this and the roses will bloom again...

have some lakes here with 6to7 inches but now with the rain and melting snow they are slushy with water on top in places.I was told today that there was even guys fishing Pelican lake and it had good ice.

This is the first year, everything is ready and working. -Sled, plow, salter, snowblower, 6 pallets of salt, and all of the ice fishing gear prepped.... For what? 50º and rain!
