Ice fishing near Marquette

I was just wondering if anybody had any information on good ice fishing spots around Marquette and in Marquette county. Any information would be awesome! Thanks

Plenty of lakes out there. Superior is not frozen yet (the bay) in Munising.

The lack of snow lately and cold temps have frozen up all of the inland lakes pretty well.

Your best bet would be to drive around and check out the lakes with shacks on 'em.

I know that I regularly see shacks on Teal Lake.

I have also heard that Greenwood Reservior has some decent ice fishing (I have only hit it in the summer).

If you can't find any lakes Thill's fish Market downtown Marquette has incredible fresh whitefish for sale!

There is usually some decent perch fishing getting started in Lake Independence by Big Bay at this time of year. Check with the local bait shop for details.
