Ice Fishing on Lac Vieux Desert

Had a great time ice fishing New Years Eve Day with Bear, Squat, Kaboo, Madison and my girlfriend Vicki. We got new shanties for Christmas and boy were they nice! We caught a nice bunch of pan fish and cooked them up for our New Years Eve game feast!GoodTimes!!

Glad you had a great time! Mike took me out on the ice while we wer heading to Sunrise on 12/9 which was the earliest I have ever been on the ice altho we stuck to the edge. We asked Phil and he was guessing it had to be at least 6in at the time (during that cold blast) so what is the thickness now? I was asked by SteveO if I wanted to try ice fishing on LVD and I may have to take him up on it.
