Emptied rain gauge today & had 2 inches of water. That would have been 2 feet of snow in Phelps, WI. Most rain we had all summer so maybe weather is changing & drought moving to big snows. We need it! JD ready for winter outlook yet?
We've had 3-4 inches in the past week here near Spooner and I was thinking the same thing. These rains have been like the big snow we had about 3 years ago where the moisture just keeps training over us from the east as the low sits and spins but moves very slowly. I'm hoping it's a sign for the upcoming winter.
True Mark I forgot about the previous 2 inches we had before the 2 inch event! We can hope for a snowy winter if this continues. Talking snow Sat Sun & Monday here with acumulation on Monday.
