The Illinois DNR finally figure out that everbody is registering in WI to save the Trail Permit $$$ their and the fact that it's a pain in the A$$ to registered it in Illinois and takes about 6 to 8 weeks to get an actual sticker.

So they figured out another way to get their Money, what kind of $$$ are we talking about.

The only riding i've done in Illinois in the last 10 years was on private property.

It has always been the case that when stopped, if you have IL drivers license and your sled is registered in other state, you must have a IL registration as well to be on the trails in IL. This is not new and I have seen tickets for this offence. They will now require residents of other states to get a IL trail permit when riding in IL.

Rakins, it does start april 11. So basically next year, I checked with Baldo, of the trailblazers. Unless of coarse you are an Illegal, then everything is free!!

Trail Pass

Trail pass? Are you kidding me? A trail pass for out of state riders is a money loser. This is Illinois politics at its worst. The next thing will be a pass for residents. A trail pass ran by the state will cost much more in administrative costs than it will produce. Just my 2.
