Illinois Couples looking to ride

Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year.

My wife and I are looking for other couples to go riding with. We are from the DeKalb Illinois area and frequent Wisconsin or the UP as often as possible. If you are wanting a sledding partner(s) to have fun with, please don't hesitate to send a PM or call. On the New Years day we went to the Madison area to ride and had a very nice time. Our trip started in Verona right on Military trail and made a 100 mile loop. Our riding style is Spirited. We will cruise the trails at a good pace and I tend to run at 60 to 75mph on the open flats with good visibility. Other times we will slow down to enjoy the scenery and then pick up the pace again. We are NOT bar hoppers, but will stop for lunch and have a few drinks. We respect the trails and the privilege to ride them. We are in our late 40's and are not brand specific at all. My sled for us is part Polaris and SkiDoo.

Hello Mark and Lynne. My wife and I love snowmobiling,we are somewhat new to the sport(3 Plus yrs). We belong to a club near Tomahawk Wi. We also have a couple from Milwaukee area who rides with us quite often. We are also in our late 40's. Sounds like we ride just like you guys. We probably average 100-120 miles a day. But we go as often as we can. We would always welcome fellow sledders to ride with us. We have a cottage we always stay at,and the trail is 200ft from our driveway. Better hope they stayed off over the weekend and i think they pretty much did.I didnt drive up that far but they didnt have anymore snow than some of the other places i did check and there temps got warmer than ours did.I would not try to ride till we get snow,what is left has now turned to ice.Cold in the forecast but not looking real promising for snow before the weekend.And this is a honest report.
