Imagine my surprise

We were 130 miles into a ride from Bergland to Copper Harbor. Stopped to rest for a minute and my buddy pointed out that my ski didn't look right. I have no idea when this happened but this is how we found it. 2 minutes earlier we were doing 60-70 mph.

That's the way my friend rides all the time! he isn't happy unless the ski's or trailing arms are completely ****ed up! It was your lucky day my friend.

Buy a lottery ticket... I will take 1/2 the winnings.

Lucky that did not turn out really bad.

Very lucky day. We rode back to Calumet about 25 miles and managed to get a bolt and fab up a bushing with parts from Ace. If you really look at the picture you can see that the bushing on the right side of the ski is missing, this leaves a 9/16" hole but the sindle is only 3/8". If I had to ride 20 miles I would have thrown on a big washer and headed home but we still wanted to make it to CH and then 150 miles home so we had to find some steel sleaves that nested together and filled the opening.
