Hi i am working on a friends snowmobile. its a indy 500 efi. we are trying to get it running and having no luck. we have fuel all the way up to the injectors. but the injectors are not opening and letting fuel into the throttle bodies. if you put fuel in the cylinders the snowmobile will start and run until the fuel is gone. there is power to the injectors and have tried a new battery. cant seem to figure it out. thanks for all the help.

How long since it was running, I have seen injectors stick if they have sat for years. Are there any codes flashing from the computer? Check the little window on the side of the computer for a flashing light and count the flashes. It gives 2 digit codes separated by a longer pause. i.e. blink <pause> blink blink = 12. When working on EFI systems you have, and I stress HAVE to use a manual. There is data there unique to these systems and often vital to your diagnosis. Using the wiring diagram you will know what wires to check for opens on the injector circuits. And if you know what wires you are dealing with you can slide cardboard strips inside the throttle bodies and manually ground the injectors to see if they are spraying any fuel. If you check out PolarisFiles site you should be able to find the computer program someone made that mimics the old select monitor software, he even has instructions on how to make a usb cable so you can use a laptop and scan the system for codes, throttle angle etc.
