That reminds me of when I was young, anytime there was a snowstorm we would go out riding on the roads all over. I remember one year riding up Hwy 41/45 in Germantown..Try that today and I'd probably get jail time!

When i was young my Dad was in the snowmobile business and i got to go to some great places to ride. In the 60's we rode in Glacier Nat'l Park before it was closed down, also in Squaw Valley and Truckee, CA, the Yellowstone Park area, Big Sky Montana before Big Sky was even there, the UP of Michigan both west and east, northern Wisc.northern Minnesota and North Dakota, since then I have ridden in Revelstoke BC, Pine Falls Manitoba, Kenora Ontario, all over Northern MN, and North Dakota

You must be talking about Karen Ubee. About you age group :).

Nice thing here in Boone County Indiana, it is legal to ride the roads including city streets as long as there is 3 or more inches of snow. Better than TV by a long shot but nowhere near as fun as the real trails up north. Oh, and the police don't pay any attention to you!
