Interesting things to do in Marquette in late July/early August?

My wife and I are visiting Marquette for three days from July 29 through August 1. I've been to Marquette many times, but it's been several years since I've been there. We're both outdoor folks, so we like "outdoorsy" things. Any ideas on what to do? We want to tour the lighthouse and do a lot of hiking. We'll also visit Presque Isle Park. Are there any publicly available mine tours in the area (I love those!). Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

1.)Lakenenland Sculpture Park - we stopped there on sled two years a go and it is awesome!
Highway M-28, across from Shot Point Road, Marquette, MI 49855 -

2.)Marquette Maritime Museum - A personal favorite of mine
300 Lakeshore Blvd., Box 1096, Marquette, MI -

3.)Superior Dome - I've played football here, it's pretty cool. It's the worlds largest wooden dome.

4.)Michigan Iron Industry Museum - I never been there but figuring your acclamation for mines this could interest you.
73 Forge Road, Negaunee, MI 49866 -

5.)Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum - I had some friends go here and really liked it.
501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming, MI 49849

Just some suggestions. Good Luck!

Eat at the Bonanza steak house....good food and reasonably priced.

Head out to Big Bay and on the way out or back, stop at Sugar Loaf Mt and do the climb...it is free and great view of the big lake and shoreline.

Be SURE to catch a sunset on the west side of Presque Isle....this is a personal favorite.

This is a bicycle friendly town....but not for those out of shape.
