a while ago I had asked about 3G service in the UP, specifically around Lake Gogebic. No one was able to give me a thumbs up the availability on Verizon ( I already knew Att did not have it). Anyway... Here I sit on the NW shore of Gogebic on a Verizon iPad with FAST 3G service. Speed tests are averaging about 2.5Mbps, more than fast enough to stream Netflix.
