Dropped yesterday morning at Iron River and headed west on trail 2. That trail was a 9.5 out of 10. A few rocks, but we are talking less than 1 per mile. Headed north on 107 - this trail, for the amount of snow we got was still good to great. Some of the corners a little icy and lacked snow, but no dirt. I would rate this an 8/10. Trail 8/15 was the same. Flat and fast. 9.5/10.
On another note, did see a groomer come out of 15. I heard this trail was in poor shape due to logging and reroute, but from what I could see - very short amount - looked good.
For the amount of snow, the trails were really great, better than I expected. One word of caution - we saw more deer in this trip than I can ever recall - on the grades we even slowed down. Also saw 2 grouse and 1 eagle. If you stop at the Sidnaw station, the ham and cheese sandwich was great. Usually I get the pizza, but this time tried a soup and sammi - not disappointed.
