Is it just me noticing this...

In previous years while riding on my MXZ chassis it seems like everywhere I went everyone was on newer sleds. Very few MXZ and older cat sled. Mostly all F series cats, Rev style doo's, newer Poo's and Yammys also. Now this year I notice that there is way more old style chassis out there. Seems like more of a rarity to see the "newer" platforms. A lot of old Phazers, CK3 doo's, and old poo's and cats. I even have noticed a lot of late 80's sleds out there. Am I the only one noticing this or is it just more so in my area???

That is interesting because by me I found just the opposite. In years past when riding around here I would see a lot of later model sleds and when I rode around here this year I noticed more newer sleds.

The economy has alot to do with it Construvtion people had it good for many years so they flooded the trails with newer sleds and u never noticed all the older sleds. Now no work so they stay home the older well established people still keep going sledding and that is what u see

Friends with extra sleds!

I think do the Econ the way it is, family's and friends are bringing out those oldy but goody sleds with two years of shed dust on them. Putting those Island vacations on hold and enjoying whats closer. I've never had so many people ask to use my backup sled, she has four new waxing's on her. That's the way it is at your house. IF you ride it ,wax it.

Yesterday we saw an F7 & a couple Saber Cats. Probably 03-05. The rest were mid to late 90's vintage of every flavor. All looked to be in really nice shape. Even saw a couple mid 80's Phazers. Everybody was out having fun and taking it easy. The trails stayed in great shape all day. Normally they're pretty shot by afternoon. Seeing what I saw yesterday makes me feel better about the remodel (engine rebuild & suspension mod's) on my 97.

Oldy and goody's

Hey! We just started working on two sleds we inherited from my mom and dad a 74 ski doo 440 and a 73 ski doo 340 long track hoping they will see some trail time next year.

Looking for old iron? Should have been in Manitowoc, WI yesterday. The vintage races were a hoot. 2 1/2 hour enduro races, 2 up and cutter races. Checking out the old sleds at the shows is always cool.
