Is it just me?

I seem to be have a problem when I go shopping.

It seems as though store employees just dont give a dam or havent been taught the common courtsy of getting out of customers ways. Has that happened to any of you?
I feel as though I am always moving out of there way when they should be looking out for me.

I wont even get into how many I think are rude and have a bad attitude.

Should they be confronted and told?

It's certainly not just you. Common courtesy seems to be a thing of the past. Too many people these days are rude, inconsiderate, and all about themselves. On the other hand, from my experiences, the vast majority of people still seem to care, and try do the right thing. Those that don't aren't worth getting worked up about. I've learned it takes all kinds to make the world go round, and these people you speak of, make us, who actually do give a damn about our fellow human beings stand out that much more:).

I tell them i dont care and there response generally is i dont get paid enough to care and pretend to be nice. If you really stop to think about it if people are un happy with there pay or working conditions they wont be happy with there job. Ive noticed more with talking to people that they were laidoff here or there and needed a job and the walmart or harware store was all they could get when they have 0 customer experience skills. So they took a pay cut/doing something they dont like so ya get what places pay for.

What i hate is when they just stand there or disappear when you need help with something. i try to thank them for the lack of help as much as i can or say hey dont worry i got it as much as i can.
