Ishpeming area

Based out of ishpeming over last weekend. Went to big bay, Harvey, au train, Chatham, Lily lake, Gwinn, Marquette. Only bad trail was 417 but they were running dog sleds. It might have been the reason it was not groomed. All other trails were outstanding.

I hop they get past the warm temps forecasted for a this weekend.

Thanks for the report. Heading up tomorrow to munising. Was going to ride west on Friday. Any good places to take cover around qwinn or Marquette just in case. Just looking for a bar. Thanks.

I agree. Always my destination when travelling to Gwinn. Great destination point to rest and eat or even to trailer to and leave from there.

Rode out of Ishpeming friday and Saturday. Trails were good to great Friday and fair to good Saturday..Of course with the temps what they were Saturday things started to get muddy in and around towns but the trails did seem to be holding up ok and they did get a dusting over night. They were grooming both nights which i thought was impressive . Only problem i could see is corners getting icey and washed out.
