Just a random rant but, it just seems like most of the people I talk to on a day to day basis really have little to no interest in snowmobiles. I have a lot going on with projects and upgrades I'm sorting out over the summer and it would be awesome to share my passion with others but.......Makes it really hard to enjoy a hobby that nobody else does. Anybody else ever feel this way?

I'm a member of a bunch, and several Facebook groups but nothing like talking to people face to face about your hobbies.

I'm with ya dude. Some people think that is all I know about.... Also seems like the hottest days of the summer are when I think about it the most....

try living in NON snow belt area, and ask about snowmobiling?
folks here look at you like you are talking about something THEY DO IN ALASKA ONLY!
have no clue there are even trails near by (WHEN/ IF snow falls)
so, know the feeling all too well, also NOT easy to find anyone to ride with when it snows, or to travel to snow as most common here!.

but I say its there loss, they don't know what there missing!

Sports in general are slowing down in interest, look at the ESPN layoffs as an indicator of where sports May go long-term. MEHlennials are just not as interested in sports as past generations.

Maybe a snowmobile video game?

The way we consume sports has definitely changed. I love going to games but we can all sit at home, stare at a 60 inch screen, climate controlled, have 6 other games streaming in front of us and do this on the cheap. Going to games is expensive and only some of the time the games are competitive and you have the rest of the day to get stuff done.

As for snowmobiling, definitely true that most people don't know much about it. When i am at my cabin in Hayward in the summer I usually have a sleddin trail map out scoping out new places to ride!

Back to back no snow years is why I am losing interest in sleds. I'm seriously thinking about selling the sled and getting a RZR.

ESPN layoffs have absolutely nothing to do with with the decline in sports!!!! Because sports are not declining. Football baseball basketball in particular. There were 100,000 people at the NFL draft Thursday night. There are just other ways to watch and gather information then in the past.
