Lake of the Woods – Overcast, windy, 21 degrees. Decent snow for this time of year. Took a vintage sled ride out on the Rainy River on Friday, trail was excellent and reports I’m getting from locals are that trails are good overall.
If the forecast holds, temps will be sub-zero every night through mid-February. Winter is not going anywhere.

Awoke to a fresh 3"+ this morning here in the Keweenaw. Temps in the upper 20's expected to get into the mid 30's by late this afternoon. Lots of sledders in the area this passed week & is continuing so far this weekend. I'm not on the trail so I can't tell you the conditions, as John Lennon would say "Imagine".
