It's hot out there

Our temperature topped out at 103 today. It is the first time we have been above 100 in Grand Forks since 1993 I think. It is supposed to be in the upper 80s to upper 90s for the next week also. It is very dry and I think that is why it is so hot. We have had an almost continues string of wet years since the early 90s until this year

Yep AC is full go. House, garage, office, truck, tavern, and anywhere else I will be when its stupid outside. I did hear you guys were looking to break some records up there. We hit 93 yesterday. Only 30% humidity and a stiff breeze made it bearable. The hotter it gets the more I think about winter!

Talked to my good friend who farms and lives southeast of Devils Lake and he thinks he'll lose his crop because of no rain and the heat.

a week ago we had 28 degrees and frost, I can take this kind of heat, like slimcake said low humidity and breeze. But... WHEN WILL IT RAIN??? it is like mid to late july dry, some fields down here starting to look pretty sad, i feel for those guys, good start to the season and now this, as much as it hurts my business too, looking forward to coming up for air, as long as it doesn't last all season.

I had temps in the upper 30's a few days ago and now calling for upper 90's
so a little temp swing
got to love weathers up's and downs anymore!

and lucky me I got 100 ton of dirt on its way for me to move!
would have liked it better when temps were cooler, but things running late, so not get it in heat wave!

Perfect weather to hang an all-nighter playing for a blackjack bonus. Just open the window and let that cool breeze come in while you are sitting in your underwear in front of the computer clicking away on hand after hand. In fact, I just finished my biggest play-thru so far. It was a $100,000 play requirement, and it was the best I did on any bonus I played so far.

Oh, and just for Tracker. DraftKings in MI is offering a match of up to $20,000 in a bonus. If I figured it correctly the expected win value for the player is around $10,000. You just have to play thru $2,000,000 in 30 days. Its not for the faint of heart.

Oh no...another chapter of the forelorn misadventures of our dysfunctional “captain underpants” in his glory, here’s a suggestion, why don’t you put on a pair of depends underwear then you’ll never have to leave your chair, wouldn’t want you to miss out on all this supposed money you’re winning

It was a little bit cooler today, it topped out at 100, 8 days ago it was 29

Saw 99 over in Thief River, remembered that it was 39 below last winter and thought that is quite a spread.
The rain TRF had last night petered out by the time it got to my house in Bemidji.
Still running 3 lawn sprinklers 12 hours a day for the new lawn seed.

Farm land looking sad, hope ot rains soon.

Same here running River sprinkler morning and night and ground never gets saturated. Seed starting to come but so is the quack grass. SE WI has been in severe drought for awhile now. Farm fields are looking sad definitely a chance they will lose the crop. Drought doesn’t seem to have an end anytime soon. Tomorrow I’ll start on new pine trees lawn is burnt no use watering that.
