It's Melting!

I just have to vent. Sunny and 40 really sucks! Now the storm for this Thursday moving South, what next?! This is starting to look like last winter.

Yeah was 37 when I left Houghton 8am this morning. Parking lot was just about bare.

Now the storm isn't even a storm. Gees, down to 1 to 3 inches.

We had over 12" on the ground in SE MI just a few days ago....now it's just small brown piles from plows. Lakes weren't even safe yet so yards got all torn up and back in the trailer they go!

Yeah last year when I was up there in January it was really warm. Our last day riding we rode from ewen to watersmeet and back to wakefield and all the way from watersmeet to wakefield it was raining.

Not even Christmas yet, trails officially were not able to open in most places til last week, and already complaining? Supposed to get really cold next week. So lack of snow this early is actually not a bad thing. A few years ago, there was a bunch of snow before things froze up. Made for a swampy, muddy mess for a long time. Glass is half full

Wish I would have saw this thread would of never went up Sun - Thurs and have a great time and the 650 miles is a good start also.

Rockland to Copper Harbor was good went to Sidnaw and Kenton. Rail Road beds were great I always forget trail numbers.
