Your probably thinking this picture is way back in the backcountry, But it's really just my buddy turning his snowmobile around in his front yard just north of Iron Mountain. It's been a lot of years since we've had this much stinkin snow!!!

Picnic table.jpg

North Central WI. Heading to my buddies cabin and he called me yesterday stating the plow truck could not get in. I basically said no way, guy needs new tires. Then he sent me this photo. They are coming to open it up with a front loader today.

Edit - in case you could not tell, that is a picnic table.

I tried to tell you this on Tuesday.....it's the most snow I've seen since I bought my place in Vilas 2005. The snow bank, HAND shoveled, is at least 6 ft. at the driveways end. Difficult to throw UP and over.
We - don't - need - no - more - snow.

I think it is great. I love to play in the powder and usually have to head up to lake effect areas to make that happen. I have the family with me this weekend, so it still won't happen. My wife freaks out if we get stuck. But this might mean we could ride into March, which has not happened in many years.
