anyone want to ride skis from rock island to st. Louis down the mighty miss? or from Wisconsin to mich across the lake? once it gets a tad warmer

Have you watched the "Dangerous Waters" series? 4 guys going around the world over 4-5 years. I think they have a couple of seasons left. You can Google it. Also it is probably on youtube. They started in northern Alaska and have made it to Singapore so far. It has been a good watch.

I'd love to do both of these trips. I have a boat in Kewaunee, WI that we could take off from to cross the lake. Me and my wife have intentions to do this this year. Also next year we planning on taking the skis form Minneapolis to New Orleans on the skis. We are starting the planning process now. I drove my 30' Salmon fishing boat from Minneapolis down to St Louis and ran the Illinois River up through Chicago and up to Green Bay. So I am familiar with the river from here to there. We are looking for people in the area that want to destination ride on the skis! Let me know.

did the tippeecanoe river from the dam in the south to US 24..approaching 24 highway bridge I sucked in some weeds doing 360's and water walking pushing the ski hard WOT the whole time and she overheated.....idled down and the red engine light went off...didn't feel like drifting back or swimming 10 miles or so, so I just turned around since it was only me....unfortunately it never overheated again so I turned back around and didn't make it again...at about 24....huge indy race partay on a sand bar so I joined em for one beam and honey and pepsi....then went back to the dam....will try again but am aiming for Mississippi and rock river tours this year....would love to do the shore of U.P....maybe we will hook up soon
