John Dee in a new Klim advertisement in this months SnowGoer

I got the new Snowgoer mag in the mail yesterday, while skimming through it I caught a Klim Ad which featured John Dee amongst some other riders. It was cool to see, although I was a little disappointed seeing him on that Nytro instead of the M8! :) John i didnt know a boat like that could actually do any carving!

I saw that also, pretty dang cool!

You can carve a Nytro pretty easily, one just has to have some natural skills to begin with. :)

seriously, yammi's dive down but in semi flat terrain they carve very nice, the weight it up and it turns over easy, just a little push with the feet and round she goes, my old yammi mtn lite carved better than Mr Freeze summit 146 and my other buddies etek summit, that's about all they can do better than doo's, just depends where the weight it

Just a little razzing......c'mon the Yamaha weight thing is just an easy target. They make very nice rock solid machines (When I think Yamaha I think durability), and I had a chance to ride the Nytro XTX and found it to be a really cool sled. Although heavy on the scales, Yamaha does a great job with positing the weight in the chassis to make it feel lighter.

To each their own!

Photoshop........?

no.....but it does take 10,000 dollas worth of MODS/NITROUS/TURBO's and TITANIUM though....before it even SEES A BUNNY HILL

so all you guys talkin bout how YAMIS are good....tell us.....how many dollas in MODS DO YOU HAVE?????? i'd guess about 5,000 on average

That is great stuff John. Thanks for sharing the link with the rest of the story on this Klim add. Very compelling...I might have to check out the Klim gear!

I will have about $6000 in upgrades. That includes the blower. I bought my XTX new for $8000. So I will have about $14,000 invested at the end. BUT I will have a sled that I can run for years and walk away from any natural aspirated 2-stroke out there. So if you want to keep up at all you are looking at NOS, clutching, big bore, etc. That's going to run you a couple grand and a new sled every few years. It all evens out in the end. Now I agree weight is more noticable when carving through the trees. But for high marking you won't beat a Yamaha running forced induction.

I noticed on the Klim website that the un-insulated bibs actually cost more than the insulated bibs. I found that curious. Any thoughts on that? I don't wear Klim yet, but plan on it as soon as my current gear starts to wear down.
